Is this genuine and useful, or part of User:KYPark's effort to link English and Korean? The differentiation of "native Korean" words from "Euro-Korean" makes me suspicious. — Beobach972 22:50, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
- This is part of KYPark’s delusion about Korean being genetically related to the Indo-European languages. Older etymologies[edit]
Hello, I've noticed that there are several pages on this category which list the earliest known usage of words as coming from early Joseon-period documents, but this NamuWiki page has sources that are older, from the Goryeo period, and so on. One example would be folding-fan (부채), for instance.

Am I missing something here? If not, I'll leave this here so that someone might go through those pages and add older etymologies...
