Borrowed from Japanese F(エフ)t( ティー)X( エックス) (efu tī ekkusu), which is a wasei eigo (和製英語; pseudo-anglicism), from English female + to + X.[1] Similar to English MtF and FtM. “X” here represents X-gender (Xジェンダー).
