Mexican bush sage (usually uncountable, plural Mexican bush sages)

  1. A shrubby sage native to central and eastern Mexico, Salvia leucantha, grown in subtropical, dry climates for its ornamental flower stems covered in bright blue or purple velvety hairs, and for its relative drought tolerance.
