Reconstruction:Proto-Tupi-Guarani/kuj
Appearance
Proto-Tupi-Guarani
[edit]Etymology 1
[edit]Noun
[edit]*kuj
Reconstruction notes
[edit]Mello reconstructs *kuja.[1] However, for this protoform to work, most of its descendants should be oxytones ending in [a], which is not the case — Old Tupi has kuîa, and not *kuîá, for example.
