Etymology[edit]

Cognate to Proto-Mongolic *cïlaxun (stone) (Mongolian чулуу (čuluu, stone)). A possible relation includes Proto-Tungusic *ǯola (stone) (Evenki дёло (ʒolo, stone)). Compare also Korean (dol, stone).
