About etymology[edit]

The appearance of this word in Odyssey excludes the possibility for Latin roots, doesn't it?SoSivr (talk) 12:50, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It'd be a cognate of forma, not derived from it. ObsequiousNewt (εἴρηκα|πεποίηκα) 13:04, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Related to "mūrti"?[edit]

I was wandering if morphḗ could be related to Sanskrit mūrti (मूर्ति), also meaning "shape". LorenzoF06 (talk) 21:52, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
