@Atitarev, Cinemantique, Wikitiki89, Wanjuscha, KoreanQuoter: Question about patronymics. I'm cleaning up cases where a transliteration is manually attached to a link. In some cases, however, two transliterations are given, one that corresponds to the Russian and another shorter one, e.g.

* {{qualifier|[[patronymic|Patronymic]]s:}} {{l|ru|Артурович}} (Artúrovič, Artúryč), {{l|ru|Артуровна}} (Artúrovna, Artúrna)

I've been cleaning them up as follows:

* {{qualifier|[[patronymic|Patronymic]]s:}} {{l|ru|Арту́рович}}/{{l|ru|Арту́рыч}}, {{l|ru|Арту́ровна}}/{{l|ru|Арту́рна}}

Is this correct? Alternatives are to just delete the shorter form or specify it in some other fashion. Benwing2 (talk) 12:55, 14 June 2016 (UTC)

Note that only the first patronymic is standard and is used in documents, such as passports (a Russian "internal" passport is a standard ID). The other forms might be rare, too rare, or only used in (fast) speech.
