武道館 refers to the 日本武道館, or Nippon Budokan (proper noun), which may or many not be dictionary material (?). —Suzukaze-c 03:39, 13 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Is this an RFV or RFD? 武道館 referring to Nippon Budokan is quite ordinary in music industry: ライヴ・アット・武道館, 久石譲 in 武道館, Perfume 『BUDOUKaaaaaaaaaaN!!!!!』. — TAKASUGI Shinji (talk) 22:16, 13 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
RFV of the current entry contents:
===Noun===
{{ja-noun|ぶどうかん}}

# budokan
# Japanese martial art gymnasium

Aren’t senses 1 and 2 above the same? Shouldn’t that be
===Noun===
{{ja-noun|ぶどうかん}}

# budokan {{gloss|Japanese martial art gymnasium}}
# Nippon Budokan {{gloss|name of an indoor arena in Tokyo}}

I’m not sure about this RFV. It’s just common and no one will doubt its existence. 武道館 referring to 日本武道館 is a proper noun while the one referring to other martial art arenas (東京武道館, 静岡県武道館, etc.) is a common noun. — TAKASUGI Shinji (talk) 14:34, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hm, perhaps I should have made this an RFC. I didn't check w:ja:武道館; online versions of the Daijisen redirect the 武道館 entry to 日本武道館. —Suzukaze-c 22:34, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Retracted. —Suzukaze-c 22:36, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
