Coingate[edit]

Maybe the first definition needs to be more general. "Coingate" (a scandal in Ohio) has been in use for a few years, and its name is derived from "coin", a centerpiece in the scandal and obviously not a person's or place's name. The various subcategories of Category:American political scandals list a couple more of similar etymologies. – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 22:41, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
