Czech vocative[edit]

@Solvyn, Benwing2: Hi. https://prirucka.ujc.cas.cz/en/?slovo=Honduras gives the vocative form as "Hondurasi", not "Hondurase". Is this right?

cs:Honduras has "Hondurase", so does http://aztekium.pl/find.py?lang=cs&q=Honduras Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 13:18, 14 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's Hondurase. Solvyn (talk) 14:21, 14 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Solvyn:. Thanks. Normally, the dictionary seems accurate. Hopefully, there are not many errors. Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 14:31, 14 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Atitarev, Solvyn There are several such inanimate words in -s that are hard in IJP but have a vocative in -i, e.g. aids, Deimos (inanimate, with vocative either Deime or Deimosi) and Tigris (with vocative either Tigride, Tigrise or Tigrisi). When I came across Deimos I assumed the -i was an error, but I'm not so sure about Tigris since both forms are given. But on the balance I think these are mistakes, esp. since the vocative will be vanishingly rare for all these words. Benwing2 (talk) 18:10, 14 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
