Should a translation be a literal translation of "(God) Bless You", or whatever idiom is used for sneezing in that language? For example, the Chinese find sneezes unremarkable so the translation is void, right?

Well, bless you has more than one meaning; one is a response to a sneeze, the other is literal. Only one is on this page at the moment, but once that's rectified, both would go here, with the appropriate number. —Muke Tever 23:40, 22 Apr 2004 (UTC)

In response to the question why a new def was added at #1, the oldest, most basic meanings should come first, extended meanings last. Renumbering is truly a pain but until the wiki can handle it for us somehow we'll probably have to put up with it. — Hippietrail 01:48, 23 Apr 2004 (UTC)
