How does Wiktionary handle poor spellings such as "cabby" where "cabbie" is clearly the preferred spelling. The "alternate" spelling of "cabby" is apparently only seen rarely, such as in crossword puzzles. --Connel MacKenzie 17:08, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Cabby" is not a misspelling, just an alternate. It's listed in lots of dictionaries at OneLook. It is not so unusual for an alternate spelling to be rare. -- WikiPedant 15:21, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
