Borrowing??[edit]

Bergsland & Vogt (1962) maintain that Norwegian dø is a loan from Danish (the fourth in their count). Are there arguments beyond believe or not believe against this?? They obviously think that is not the normal sound shift to be expected from Old Norse deyja. HJJHolm 14:49, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
