Fixing a redirect[edit]

The link for Fanboy in "Wikipedia has an article on: Fanboy" redirects (to the more general page "Fan (person)"). The appropriate link would be http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fanboy#Fanboy.2Ffangirl. How can this be fixed? Or should the Wikipedia reference be removed? --Mortense 10:01, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

New definition?[edit]

I know this word has a second meaning, but i need more info. Could someone research this some more? RocketMaster (talk) 17:42, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This article is woefully feeble, and misses out on the whole 'fanboi' business, particularly around Apple and, weirdly, Microsoft. This article is infinitely better: english.stackexchange.com/questions/51493/what-is-the-etymology-of-fanboi - sorry for removing the http from the link, but it seems that wikt's spam fileters don't like helpful information: "This action has been automatically identified as harmful". A little sad, but there you go. I'm sure a Wiktionary fanboi will pop up to defend it  ;-) Heenan73 (talk) 15:59, 11 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
