  • Ross's Hellenore, early 19th Fat chance he had she na culd tell... In this case "Fat" means "What", the poem is somewhere on the En/Sco spectrum, so it's not a useful attestation of this meaning. However the usage is consistent in the work Fat sall I do.. (or smth similar) so it would bear investigation for a sense of fat.
