Some questions:
- What's the history of this term? It'd be nice to know its origin.
- Who first used it, and when, and can we quote it? It seems to me to be older than the 2012 quote given, but "I've been wrong before".
- Does it derive from LOL, perhaps as a plural form of LOL as a noun?
