Not widely used[edit]

I believe that this term is coined in a nature paper in 2007. It is not widely used enough to have an entry in wiktionary. --Memming 21:15, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

RFV discussion[edit]

This entry has survived Wiktionary's verification process.

Please do not re-nominate for verification without comprehensive reasons for doing so.

I have resurrected this entry, and added every citation I could find to it. I am listing it here because I would like others' input on whether these citations bring it up to code or not (e.g. if they are not felt to "use the word" or to "convey meaning", or "be independent"). (If it passes only because Nature is a refereed academic journal, please pretend for a moment in light of some of the proposals here that the article is being held to the same standard as a book.) — Beobach 02:15, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't like "the so-called infotaxis algorithm" as a citation: it feels more like mention than usage. The others look okay. Equinox 14:46, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
