Definition from Wiktionary, the free dictionary
The Spanish Wiktionary says that the word "loco" comes from the Greek γλαυκός, but this article attributes it to the Arabic lawqa. Any idea which is correct?

- I have seen a further etymology, from a word ulucus "owl", but Portuguese louco does point towards an older -au-. --Florian Blaschke (talk) 04:59, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
