Talk:lytdybr

From Wiktionary, the free dictionary
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Is it not a noun? (at least 'as well'?) In Russian it is a noun, not adjective, for sure.

Rare?[edit]

The Latin spelling currently gets 265,000 Google hits. I think it's more likely some people want it not to be around than that it's rare. — hippietrail (talk) 09:34, 26 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

IMO, not a word in Russian, wrong script, unattestable. See лытдыбр. --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 03:32, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

For context: the supposed word is marked as English and the def is this: "(rare, of a blog posting) Concerned with one’s everyday or personal life". Searches: google books:"lytdybr", google groups:"lytdybr", lytdybr”, in OneLook Dictionary Search.. Appears unattested indeed. --Dan Polansky (talk) 15:08, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A Russian section has just been added. I see four Google Books hits which might verify it. - -sche (discuss) 19:30, 21 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I see no citations in the English section, and no durable citations in the Russian section. It looks like both sections fail RFV ... - -sche (discuss) 00:29, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I personally don't see any big value in this odd and rare word and funny spelling. I did try to save it, though but I can't find any better citations. --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 00:36, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Both language sections failed. — Ungoliant (falai) 01:04, 22 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
