Countable?[edit]

Is mitigation countable? I've seen contradicting opinions on this. I.e. is it possible to say "a mitigation"? — This comment was unsigned.

Yes, e.g. "On 29 November 1993 the Korneuburg Regional Court dismissed the applicant's request for a mitigation of his sentence." Equinox 13:02, 12 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
