RFD discussion: July–December 2018[edit]

The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process (permalink).

It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.

"The reading of this character is shù, and there is no Chinese character pronounced niě." -107.77.203.211. There indeed does not seem to be a character with this reading. SURJECTION ·talk·contr·log· 15:00, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: I note that, according to the Unihan database, only one character (may) be pronounced niě in Mandarin: . But this may be wrong. ---> Tooironic (talk) 06:36, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The niě reading isn't currently listed at the Wiktionary entry, but if it is added, I am ready to withdraw this RFD. However, it seems like it would be an old variant reading of some kind. SURJECTION ·talk·contr·log· 09:49, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
