Oddly, BGC will only turn up hits for "queen's knight's pawn" when I search this, even in quotes. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 02:45, 18 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There are hits also for "queen knight pawn" if you filter out the apostrophe versions: [1] --Jan Kameníček (talk) 21:07, 19 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It should be renamed to queen's knight's pawn, which is much more common anyway. — TAKASUGI Shinji (talk) 04:47, 22 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

king bishop pawn[edit]

Deleted. Queen bishop pawn still exists; it seems to be attested, though less common than the "'s" version; is it SOP? - -sche (discuss) 03:36, 21 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Some of the terms at w:Glossary of chess are SoP if one accepts the chess-specific way chess terms combine as part of how English nouns combine to form NPs. But this class, being small, seems more suitable for lexical treatment than clock times (minutes), numbers (multi-digit), or chemical formulas (all but the most common, like H2O.
