Is this not just an attributive use of the noun, to be deleted in its adjective sense? --Dan Polansky 09:28, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a sense that is distinct and not attributive use of the noun. I agree that the sense you rfv'd is suspect. DCDuring TALK 09:41, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Interestingly, Webster 1913 has "regulation" only as a noun while Century 1911 includes one adjective sense: "having a fixed or regulated pattern or style; in accord with a rule or standard".[1]

After inserting the new sense, I found same sense at MWOnline, dated 1846. DCDuring TALK 09:49, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RFV failed, sense removed. —RuakhTALK 02:56, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
