My wife maintains that scamp has negative connotations and should not be applied to our son. I don't know what that negative connotation might be. I can't find any in all my internet searches. Can anyone supply a reason why it is not an endearing term, commonly prefixed with 'little' or 'charming', when applied to children? Hughdbrown (talk) 17:28, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
