Looks suspiciously like this: http://www.allwords.com/word-soeter.html including the example sentence. I can only find proper noun usages and one poetic reference. -- Pinkfud 22:48, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

I have no clue on this one. The Norwegian word for the same is (deprecated template usage) seter, so it might have origined from that … --Eivind (t) 11:52, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

Somebody probably misread the word sæter (confusing æ with œ), which is an alternative spelling of seter. Kåre-Olav 10:12, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Not seeing this in English on bgc (though here's one. I am, however, seeing (deprecated template usage) sœter in English, with seemingly the same meaning. But that's another entry. This has been sitting here long enough. Deleted, striking.​—msh210℠ 17:28, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
