Apparently this page and some others were copied verbatim from dictionary.reference.com. Do I simply delete it and we start over? Or does somebody want to rework it as it should have been done in the first place? Polyglot 17:35, 15 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Except for the first two definitions, it looks as if it comes from Websters 1913, which should be OK. Ortonmc 18:04, 15 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Merge definitions?[edit]

Can we merge some definitions here? One, six and nine seem to be essentially the same thing, as do two and ten. Some of the others might be partially or entirely redundant as well. Once that is done, the translations could use some cleaning up as well (I'd do that now, but it seems fairly pointless so long as the English definitions are so convoluted).Paul Willocx 17:19, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Chambers 1908 has "active, or special, trust, a trust in which the trustee's power of management depends upon his having the right of actual possession". Equinox 01:23, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
