The use of provide in

  1. To tell someone about one's troubles, and so provide relief

makes it unclear to me who experiences the relief? The person being told because now they know that someone else has it worse? Should provide be changed to experience? RJFJR 15:43, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Amusing equivalent in French[edit]
