  • Middle French conjugation varies from one text to another. Hence, the following conjugation should be considered as typical, not as exhaustive.

This is the conjugation template for mettre and all verbs that have the same conjugation pattern. Its sources are Dictionnaire du moyen français (1330-1500), mettre, subsection formes and the former {{fr-conj-mettre}} template (modern French). It has two optional parmeters:

  • |1= (optional) the prefix for verbs ending in mettre with the same conjugation pattern. For example {{frm-conj-mettre|re}} for remettre.
  • |ct= (optional) use ct=1 for mectre and verbs ending in mectre with the same conjugation pattern. For example {{frm-conj-mettre|sou|ct=1}} on soumectre.
