Usage

This template is designed for the lemma of all Classical Nahuatl verbs. Only use this template for the verb's lemma entry (third-person singular). For non-lemma forms, use {{head|nci|verb form}}.

Basic usage

For verbs of conjugation classes 1 specify them as follows:

• chōca (“to to cry, weep”): {{nci-verb|1|chōca}}
• temo (“to descend”): {{nci-verb|1|temō}}

For verbs of conjugation classes 2 and 4, specify them as follows:

• yōli (“to live”): {{nci-verb|2|yōli|yōl}}
• tlacua (“to eat”): {{nci-verb|4|tlacuā|tlacua}}

For verbs of conjugation classes 3 specify them as follows:

• choloa (“to flee”): {{nci-verb|3|choloā|cholo|cholō}}
