English[edit]

Etymology[edit]

From {{{1}}} +‎ -able.

Adjective[edit]

new en able (comparative more new en able, superlative most new en able)

  1. Able to be [[{{{1}}}ed]].

This template is used for quickly creating English adjectives ending in -able. It provides a minimum of information, and should ideally be complemented with other information, such as pronunciation, derived terms, translations, etc.

Usage[edit]

It takes two parameters, the first is mandatory while the second is optional.

  1. {{{1}}}: the word that the adjective is derived from, such as work > workable
  2. {{{2}}}: the word to complete the definition "Able to be [] ". By default this is {{{1}}} suffixed with -ed. However this does not work for words that don't take just -ed for their past participle.
