This should probably redirect to {{ambitransitive}}, although you could argue it the other way around, I suppose. Still, since transitive and intransitive are already difficult words, and {{ambitransitive}} links to (deprecated template usage) ambitransitive, I say redirect this template to {{ambitransitive}}. - I suspect people are familiar with t. and i. from other dictionaries, but not with a. So don't redirect per nom IMO. (I'm not sure why this is better than {{transitive|intransitive}}, though.)—msh210℠ (talk) 16:37, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
- Does that mean not to redirect one to the other, in either direction? I find that a little odd. How should they be used, or are they always interchangeable? Also the label does link to ambitransitive. Mglovesfun (talk) 10:50, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
- Heck, just use

{{ambitransitive}}, except for the fact that it is shorter to type. "Ambitransitive" does not appear once in any of the BNC, Time, COCA, and COHA corpora nor in any OneLook reference whose name does not begin with "Wiki".
