Please place any etymology information on the character entries. Pinyin entries are just pointers for the conveninence of people who are not able to look up the characters for whatever reason. Jamesjiao → T ◊ C 06:49, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
all these rules are impractical. do what you must and i will do what the interface appears to let me do. not my fault the interface sucks on wiktionary. that's the webmaster's problem, right? right.
- Nope. Rules are rules. It has already been decided that romanization entries will only contain that - romanizations. Jamesjiao → T ◊ C 04:10, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
rules to undo user inputs is bullshit. this is an interface problem. too complicated, too convoluted and this entry NEEDS an etymology. you're not even trying to be reasonable. provide an alternative course of action instead of deletion.
- Or you just refuse to understand why things are done this way. I've already said: put the etymology in the character entries. I never said: NO you can't give the entry an etymology. Huge difference. Jamesjiao → T ◊ C 04:13, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
you are being nonsensical. this is the etymology for the NAME OF HONG KONG, not the individual characters. again, you're nonsensical. are you even Chinese? do you know how it works? characters can have multiple meanings but the characters to make the name Xianggang only have one meaning, moron. non-chinese will therefore not see what it means and will have to guess because your stupid internal "rules" are more important than encouraging constructive user input. if you're not a troll, you're a royal asshole for sure.
why dont you just do that then. erasing information just because of one technicality or another is just plain retarded.
- If you’re not interested in following the rules don’t edit here. — Ungoliant (Falai) 14:34, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
- I and most other *normal* people are not interested in following your *dumb* autistic rules. Yeah, you sure got me good. Ooooh. Kudos to your trolling success, asshat. Erasing edits just because of a technicality is lame.
