Etymology templates

Hello,

Thanks for adding Korean neologisms. Just as a note, {{blend}} is for compound words where the second part of the first word and/or first part of the second word is gone. For example, 기레기 is a blend of 기(자) and (쓰)레기, and 소개팅 is a blend of 소개 and (미)팅.

So 캠핑족 is not a blend, since no part of either 캠핑 or 족 is lost. Instead, it should be done like this:

{{af|ko|캠핑|-족|t1=camping|t2=people, ethnicity}}.

밀당 isnot a blend either, since it’s not the second half of 당기다 that is being lost. It would be a blend if it was 밀기기, though. The older etymology that was there was okay.

For 카공족, the etymology should be formatted like at 틀딱충. 카공족 is also not a blend because it’s the first syllable of 카페 and 공부 that are being taken.

Could you fix the etymologies of 밀당, 캠핑족 and 카공족 please? I would do it myself, but unfortunately I’m not really in a place where I can edit.--Tibidibi (talk) 11:52, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
