Welcome

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to one of the discussion rooms or ask me on my Talk page.

Did you know that Wiktionary can be adapted to fit your style? Go have a look at your personal preference page (nicknamed “PREFS”)! In particular, you can choose the option to show hidden categories, which will be of great help if you are looking for work to do.

Again, welcome!

Categories

[edit]

Please keep categories with their language section. When you edited the page (deprecated template usage) much, you moved the English categories to the end of the naew Polish section. Each category should stay at the end of its own language section. --EncycloPetey 20:17, 25 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Forms of nouns

[edit]

You may find the {{inflection of}} template useful for noun forms. I have made this edit to deomnstrate how it is used. If you are doing all forms of one noun, then it is easy to cut-and-paste the entry for all forms.

Also, we no longer use {{see}}; we are now using {{also}} instead. The template {{see}} is being deprecated for use for the Seneca language, which is ISO code see. --EncycloPetey 21:33, 25 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
