Basing rhymes on UK pronunciation[edit]

Hi,

I don't know why you moved rhymes:English:-ɜː(r) to rhymes:English:-ɜː(`). ` is not an IPA symbol, but a SAMPA one, and is used to represent a US pronunciation. The rhymes are based on UK pronunciations, so this move is completely inappropriate. I'm changing it back. — Paul G 13:24, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Using only UK rhymes is inappropriate too, as this is en.wiktionary, not uk.wiktionary Ligo 01:30, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
