On Wiktionary, if you think a user has done some hard work or has jumped in and helped on a particularly tricky or important area, you can award them with a barnstar.
A barnstar is a small template that you can place on a user's talk page. If you feel they deserve some credit for their work on Wiktionary, why not show them a little token of appreciation? If you're not sure if a situation warrants giving out a barnstar, don't be afraid! You decide when credit is due, and everyone likes to be acknowledged for their work.
