User:Bhagadatta very knowledgable about Konkani, Middle Indo-Aryan, Sanskrit, Proto-Indo-Iranian and Proto-Indo-European. An admin who is knowledgable about Dravidian languages is certainly necessary. He has also been an excellent mentor to other contributors. If it ever comes down to either one of us having to be chosen for the role in light of my own admin vote that is also underway, then I'd prefer to have the role be given to him.     Yeah, I agree and also PIA terms are too similar to Sanskrit words, so even I feel they are unnecessary. PII -> Skt. can also be easily identified and skipping PIA isn't like skipping Sauraseni Prakrit in Hindi etymologies, because Sauraseni terms are sometimes quite important if the Skt. word has changed significantly. 🔥शब्दशोधक🔥 03:48, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

    @SemperBlotto: Yes, most probably. Most of the times, User:Bhagadatta edits almost all the entries I create and the last edit on the entry is his.
