Usage notes
[edit]Non-native speakers often have difficulty distinguishing between the meanings of abieluinimene, abielupaar, and abielurahvas.
- Abieluinimene refers to a single individual who is married.
- Abielupaar refers to a specific unit of two people who are married to each other.
- Abielurahvas is a more collective or slightly informal/old-fashioned term, refering to "married people" as a group or class of people.
