Etymology 1

Derived from Greek σάκος (sákos), from Ancient Greek σάκκος (sákkos, sack, bag; sackcloth), most likely from Semitic. A formation with the enforcement of the fricative ‘s’ into an affricate, similar to ca.[1]

Similar to cakël, an elementary formation from cak, meaning a result of slicing and dicing in tiny pieces. Encountered in southern Gheg dialect, Shpat region. Used only in plural.[2]
