Borrowed from Classical Nahuatl centzontleh, shortened form of centzontlahtōleh (mockingbird, literally possessor of four hundred words), from centzontli (four hundred, a count of four hundred) + tlahtōlli (language, word, statement) + -eh (possessor of).
