Albanian

Etymology

Together with dishmësor, most likely related to ditshëm (“wise”), from di (“to know”). First attested in the 18th century in the prose texts of Chetta and nowhere else: "Tjerë të urt dishman duanë se këtu qiellë do me thënë..."(Other educated sages would like to [claim] that here 'heaven' means...).^[1]
