experimental probability ‎(plural experimental probabilities)

  1. (mathematics) The probability that a certain outcome will occur, as determined through experiment.
    • Perform an experiment n number of times, then if the designated outcome occurs m times, then the experimental probability of that outcome is m/n. Read as "m" over "n".
