- (transitive) to terminate, cancel, abrogate, denounce (a bank deposit, contract, agreement, treaty etc.), in particular:
- (transitive, intransitive, of an employee) to give one’s notice, to resign from, to quit (a job, office, position, etc.)
- (transitive, intransitive, of an employer) to terminate an employee’s contract (the employee expressed with -nak/-nek)
