  1. (aviation) A system of a narrow horizontal and vertical bar overlaid on an aircraft's attitude indicator, with the bars deflecting to provide guidance as to the pitch and roll inputs required to maintain the desired flightpath.
  2. (space flight) A senior ground controller.
