1. A device that delivers a precise amount of a taste (gustatory stimulus) to the tongue of a recipient.

     For example, with 30 minute sessions and 5 gustometers, more than 70 animals could potentially be tested. Hence, this procedure shows promise for high-throughput taste screening in mutaginized rodents.
