Inherited from Medieval Tashelhit اِغِلْ (iɣil, arm),[1] from Proto-Berber *a-ɣil (arm).[2] Cognate with Tarifit ɣiř (arm), Tuareg aɣil (arm), Ghadames áɣil (arm), and Zenaga iʔy (forearm).
