    Inherited from Sauraseni Prakrit 𑀖𑀭 (ghara, a metathesized form of Sanskrit गृह (gṛha)),[1] from Proto-Middle Indo-Aryan *𑀕𑀭𑁆𑀳 (*garha), from Sanskrit गृह (gṛha), from Proto-Indo-Iranian *gʰr̥dʰás, from Proto-Indo-European *gʰerdʰ-.
