  1. A tall umbelliferous plant (Ferula moschata, syn. Ferula sumbul)
  2. The root of F. moschata, formerly used in medicine and as a substitute for musk.
  3. Plants of genus Adoxa (moschatel), especially species Adoxa moschatellina, found in most of the temperate Northern Hemisphere.
  4. Nardostachys jatamansi (nard)
