- A tall umbelliferous plant (Ferula moschata, syn. Ferula sumbul)
- The root of F. moschata, formerly used in medicine and as a substitute for musk.
- Plants of genus Adoxa (moschatel), especially species Adoxa moschatellina, found in most of the temperate Northern Hemisphere.
- Nardostachys jatamansi (nard)
