According to Know Your Meme, the first recorded usage is in an iFunny comment by a user named sagia, a screenshot of which was reposted on March 2, 2025. The original reversed the order of the foods: "Oh no, my lobster is too buttery and my steak is too juicy!" The phrase was popularized throughout 2025 on various social media sites.
