peak visual (plural peak visuals)

  1. (advertising) the image most recalled by the audience in each crescendo of moment-by-moment pictures, as seen in flow of attention research results.
    There was a cluster of images of a little girl that many people remembered seeing in the commercial, but the one of her laughing was the peak visual.
  2. (advertising) an image most likely to be recalled long after viewing an advertisement and therefore most likely to contribute to a brand’s long-term image.
